The rigid fiber optical rods have two fundamental versions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Core\/clad rods (with single core):<\/b>The light conducting core has relatively large refractive index. There is only one cladding on the core which has lower refractive index. This construction benefits from its simplicity <\/li>\n
  • Multifiber rods:<\/b> The outer cladding does not take part in light guiding. Inside this a several single fibers with their own cladding can be located all fused together. The advantages are, the better transmission and the possibility of image conduit. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The maximum outer diameter for rigid rods is 15mm. We can provide the light guides with black or transparent outer cladding with NA: 0,57 or 0,64. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Tapers<\/h3>

    Beside the standard 6h9 x 13 dimension we are producing tapers with diameter, and length for custom requirements as well. The materials used during the manufacturing are autoclavable so these tapers are particularly suit the needs for medical endoscopy. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Dental curing light tips<\/h3>

    Beside the standard rods with 8mm diameter, we produce custom light guides for customer needs. Moreover we can undertake the assembly of the socket.
